STILL UNSURE?
Does it really work without a battery?
Yes. The narrow solar strip beneath the round head converts light straight into current. It works most strongly in sunlight and daylight, and slightly less strongly under lamplight. There is nothing inside that can run flat and nothing you need to charge.
Will I feel anything?
Barely. The current is so weak that most people barely feel it. The metal feels cool on the skin.

FIVE TO TEN CALM
MINUTES A DAY
From jaw to temple, and around your eyes. No hurry. Let the metal do the work and calmly follow the lines of your face.
Start clean
Cleanse your face and pat it dry.
Apply The Peptide Glide
Apply The Peptide Glide, or otherwise a water-based serum or cream, to the area where you begin. That layer does three things. Zyra glides smoothly instead of dragging. The metal keeps uninterrupted contact with your skin. And, most importantly: water conducts, so the current is passed on better instead of being held back. So never use oil: it insulates, and then the device still works, but the current does not reach your skin. The Peptide Glide is coming soon. We are using it ourselves now, together with Zyra.
Follow your jawline
Place the hollow notch in the middle of your chin, so that your jawline sits precisely inside it. Move slowly upwards and outwards, to just below your ear. Around five strokes per side, or more if that feels pleasant. Start with light pressure and build it up calmly as you get to know the device: a little more pressure on the jaw and cheek is fine. Around the eyes, always keep it light.
Cheek and cheekbone
Lay the long edge flat on your cheek, so that it rests evenly. Move from your nose towards your temple, following the line of your cheekbone. Here too, a few calm strokes per side, always in the same direction, never back and forth.
Around your eyes
Let the round head glide lightly beneath and beside your eye, always from the inner corner towards your temple and never back towards the centre. This is the thinnest skin on your face, so work here with the lightest hand of all, and never in the eye itself. For most people this is the moment they look forward to most: a fresh, rested look.
Finish at your neck
From your collarbone, move slowly up towards your jaw. This completes the line you began at your chin.
Done, and back in the box
Clean Zyra with the soft cloth and put it back in its box. That keeps the device hygienic for next time. Charging is not needed and not possible, because there is no battery inside. As soon as light falls on the solar strip again, it works straight away.
