The Ritual
Five minutes that change a day.
A ritual is not a routine. A routine is something you get through. A ritual is something you arrive at. Tres Vera exists to give you one small, repeatable arrival, at the close of the day, hands on your own face, breath slowing down.
Why five minutes is enough
You are not trying to fix anything. You are moving fluid the body already wants to move, and switching the nervous system out of doing and into rest. Both happen quickly. The cool of the tool does half the work. Your slowed breath does the other half.
The three movements
- Earth, prepare. Clean skin, a few drops of oil, one breath. You arrive.
- Body, move. Light, outward strokes. Jaw, cheeks, brow. Drainage, not dragging.
- Energy, rest. Cool against the brow. The face relaxes because you do.
Make it stick
Same time, same place, beside the bed, after you wash your face. Rituals survive when they are anchored to something you already do.
